Lotus Throne

A highly ornate traditional mandala centered around a geometric lotus. A powerful tool for deep meditation. Multiple borders, symbols, and fine divisions create a slow-looking experience with many layers to discover. The page is designed to be revisited, so a small completed area is already meaningful progress.

Preparing your canvas…

A way to begin

Embark on a coloring pilgrimage. Progressing from the outer rings to the center mimics a journey to the core of the self. Build a patient, sustained coloring rhythm by moving through the layers one at a time. Keep the process spacious and curious; there is no need to finish everything in one sitting.

  1. Scan the outer border, middle bands, and center before starting.
  2. Color from the outside in.
  3. Use traditional thangka colors.
  4. Pause between layers so the details remain enjoyable rather than rushed.
